RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process through which unbaptized adults learn about the Catholic faith with a view toward eventually  receiving that Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation.  The process begins with an initial inquiry period and progresses through various stages and rites until those in RCIA become fully initiated members of the Catholic faith.  There is no set timetable with respect to how long it takes to complete this process since each person's spiritual journey is different.  Those in RCIA are accompanied by a dedicated team of parishioners on this journey.
